Extension Maths Pythagoras

This week in maths we have been learning in Extension Maths the Pythagoras's therom of A square plus B square = C square

So If there was a triangle like this.                                                    For E.G:
 A= is top right
 B= Is bottom
 C= The Left Top

You would want to know what C=
If  A= 12 Square and B=20 Square

So you do 12x12 and 24x24
12x12=144
24x24=576
Add the two numbers up 144+576= 720
Then you find the power of to equal 720

26.83281572999748 round to the nearest tenth or whole

To nearest whole = 26
To nearest tenth = 26.8
